Why This Resource Exists
Mississippi law provides access to many government records, but a released person may not remain on a current-custody list. Jefferson/Franklin County Correctional Facility keeps locally created booking and release evidence, while the Mississippi Department of Corrections maintains state offender status and sentence information. Community Corrections and the State Parole Board address supervision, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons maintains its own federal locator. This site brings the release-record route, offender searches, supervision sources, and request steps together without pretending that every system holds the same information.
Information Organized Here
The material is arranged around the office that owns each record and the kind of custody involved.
- The home page provides the complete named-person search path and explains how to request a Jefferson County release record.
- The Inmate Release Date, VINELink Release Check, and Parole / Probation pages address state dates, notices, and supervision.
- Individual facility pages identify the correct contact and release route for each local, state, federal, or immigration system.
- Recent-release pages explain the verified fallback when Jefferson County publishes no online 24-hour or 72-hour feed.
- Records-request material shows how to ask for an existing booking record or image and how Mississippi response rules work.
Limits of This Site
Jefferson County Released Inmates is privately run. It is not connected with the Jefferson County Sheriff, JCCF, MDOC, a court, a jail, or any local, state, or federal government agency.
- It cannot release, detain, or transfer anyone.
- It cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
- It cannot issue legal advice or interpret a court order for a visitor.
- It cannot guarantee that an office's address, fee, or phone line has not changed.
Only the government office that created a custody or release record can confirm its current status, charges, or recorded disposition.
How Search Partners Work
Some pages contain search tools supplied by outside providers. Those providers control their own results, terms, and prices. If a visitor follows a tool into a paid registration, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep its public pages available. A referral does not give this site control over the provider's data, cost, or response.
